we are heading down south and every night we go to sleep sad but full of hope that there will be sunshine the next day - but no no NO its devastating MORE RAIN. Today it did break up though for about half a day - so MORE HOPE.
Can someone define adventure and exiting please?
I was wondering what a lot of you think when you dream about what this trip is like? (just curious) because we are allready so much in travel routine and playgrounds and stuff that we are thinking we might be missing out on exiting and adventure - so we want to hear your Ideas about this and then we will give you ours...
Anyway only got a few more minutes left of Internet, so will post more soon.
PS we are in Reedsport or sojust down the coast on 101 (and mo' rain)
What do i imagine the trip to be like? i imagine the US portion of the trip to be a good proving ground - vehicle repairs, learning how to cope with tedium, odd weather, developing communication, attenuating one's bum to long sitting, practicing road independence due to America's stress disconnectedness etc. Then, once South of the Border, i imagine that it will become much more filled with community. I imagine that more locals will take you in and you'll have longer spells in local places. Plus the weather will be more agreeable! However the logistics of parts and repair may become more tricky. thanks for this great blog!
