We crossed the Mississippi

Yes we have left!!!!
First night in the Bus was still spent in the blue mounds, at Gill and Kathleen's place. What a way to start our trip...
then we made it to Wyalusing and watched the clouds from above, covering the delta of the Mississippi and the Wisconsin river. No breakdowns to record (yet).
And after that the amusing search for the Mississippi ferry. We finally found the little dock, flipped the (light) switch and waited. Then entered the ferry over a few steep bumbs and -crossed- over. Arriving in Iowa - dirt roads lead us away into this new state. Beautiful wild and undiscovered?
at West Union we overnighted in a park called echo Valley - cheap, empty and very nice...I recommend this stay to anyone who happens to get stranded in Idaho ...

  1. Yeah, you've gotten on your way! You will not be able to post too many updates--we all want to know as much as you'll share with us!

Safe travels through Iowa (note: Idaho is a different state, which you may or may not drive through on your trip. ;-)
