We have a blind passenger on board.
After starting breakfast yesterday we heard some weird noise and then we found some small holes in the flower AND THEN WE KNEW - a blind passenger. We are sharing our food and living space with a mouse - EEEK. Got a ratonera today - hopefully we will catch it...
After debating back and forth we took the Baja Ferry yesterday to Topolobampo. (299US $) wich was a quick 6 hour trip over pretty calm water. we where not allowed to be on the bus to sleep but oh well. We arrived in Topolobampo at arround 10 pm and did our first strret side overnighting in Mexico. It was just fine and we where woken by all those Cocadoodledoos and the people going to work. We are now in Los Mochis, getting some stuff done and then wnat to travel the Barraca Cobre (Copper Canyon). After we left La Paz for the first time we headed down to Todods Santos and went Couch surfing with Perla. It was great and Perla is a very sweet person,. She left us her little casita (she was houssitting another house) - so we had a ahower a kitchen and a porch all pretty close to a wild beach (where we actually saw a whale). We explored totdos Santos a bit, got our Muffler welded and headed towards Cabo Pulmo and Los Freiles. we stayed there at the beach for a nother 3 days and watched birds went snorkeling and just hung out.then back to la Paz to a VW guy appointment were we expected to hear bad stuff about our transmission, but it turned out to just be another hole in the muffler and some back firing. Anyway got welded up again and Emma is purring like a cat. All is good.
